What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

When you complete a contact form, we collect your First & Last name, email address and message. This data is only stored for as long as required to answer your query, then deleted.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment or review, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We only store contact date if you have registered an account, placed an order or contacted us using the contact form. If you wish to have this date removed, it may mean that you no longer have access to your account or order history and we will no longer be able to contact you.

We have an automated alert system from our web hosting company that alerts us to any data breaches. In the case of a data breach, we would inform you as soon as we can.

What third parties we receive data from

We receive information from third-parties for bookings and payments, which include GymCatch, Stripe & Paypal.

Billing information

We do not store your payment details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe or PayPal.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do not use your date for any profiling purposes.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

Under the GDPR, we are obligated to supply you with records of any information we hold about you and delete any such information on request. We may charge a £10 administration fee for this request.
